The Security System Tailored for Power Plant

The Burdur Solar Power Plant (GES) has been in operation since 2016 and is located in a 125,000 square meter area of Burdur, in the southwestern province of Turkey. GES has a total investment of $7.4 million and an installed power plant of 6.6 megawatts.

It has been calculated that generating electricity through the plant could save nearly 20,000 trees and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 10,000 tonnes.  The plant will generate a total of 10.7 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

To facilitate and safely manage the entire plant, GES chose the UNV HD intelligent monitoring solution. The UNV product is of high quality and reliability and allows large-scale monitoring of the entire area and detailed information with the 22x zoom feature. The central management system, EZStation, manages all equipment, and employees can have all the real-time images of the entire plant in the monitoring room to deal with the incident in the first place.
